Jackie Oken, MEd, NBC-HWC
Excercise Physiologist and Board Certified Integrative Health Coach
Jackie has her graduate degree in exercise physiology, is a Board Certified Integrative Health Coach, trained at Duke Integrative Medicine, and has acquired extensive expertise in the health and wellness arena over the past thirty four years. Jackie has developed and managed medium to large scale medically based health and wellness programs, presented innumerous health related talks at Fortune 500 companies and at the American College of Sports Medicine annual conference, and specializes in relationship building and partnerships that bring added mutual strength and value to all of her endeavors. Jackie was most recently the Director of Wellness programs and Services at PartnerMD in Richmond, VA where she was their executive health coach, developed and taught classes in weight loss and insomnia, and spearheaded other wellness related programming. Prior to this, she was the Director of Corporate Wellness and Special Projects, presenter and support group facilitator, and the head of the Nutrition Department at Zacharias Ganey Health Institute. Jackie is currently the Health and Wellness Coach for THRIVE Physical Therapy where she does both individual and group health coaching and teaches wellness related classes. She herself is a fitness enthusiast and former competitor who enjoys long distance biking, tennis, skiing, and hiking.
